Cross section about one working day in the power system of the north-west region of the Soviet Union. The work in Baltic and Estonian power plants is observed by the filmmakers. This is not a usual day in the plant but much more stressful and full of work - normally during the night shift from Sunday to Monday. Then the equipment that has been standing by or under repair will be switched back on.
