The Highway Crossing (1999)

Original title: Ristumine peateega

Based on the play "The Highway Crossing aka the Fairytale of the Golden Fish" by Jaan Tätte

Feature film | Drama Duration 64:35

Osvald is a silk painter living in solitude. When Laura and Roland knock at Osvald's door one late night, he realizes that long-awaited happiness has finally reached him. Osvald offers Roland a billion dollars for Laura. The young couple becomes tempted by the money; but this is a temptation that they have never faced before. The practical compromises for fulfilling their wishes will turn out illusory for all the three.
