Documentary about five protagonists, Estonian men who fought in the ranks of Finnish army against the Soviet Union, and whom Finland gave out to Russia after the war. They suffered under the repressions of NKVD, the People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs. The former so-called Finnish Boys and the Finnish prison guards of that time recall their dramatic adventures. The main character of the film is an old minister of a village church, a former Finnish Boy Paul Saar.
