Livonian language, a close relative of Estonian language, is spoken only by a few dozens of people today. However, there are more those who can sing in Livonian and the number of such people keeps growing. Will a nation survive if its language is alive on in songs? Are Livonians able to keep their nationality alive through singing, even to recreate them as a nation? The documentary follows the life of singer Julgī Stalte influenced by several languages and cultures. She was born in Latvia and has identified herself as a Livonian. Now she is dedicated herself to protect her small nation with singing.
