Battle around the re-opening of the memorial column "Lembit" in Suure-Jaani, dedicated to the war of independence. The column has been created by Amandus Adamson. Contemporaries recall the demolishing of the statue in 1941 and 1949 as well as discovering the column "Lembit" again in a warehouse in 1950s.
