Landing (1972)

Reet loves her husband Rein who is a steersman on a long-distance boat; yet, she is worn out by his long absences. It seems to Reet that Rein cares more for his work than for her. Rein does love his job a lot, but he loves his wife with the same passion. He won't understand why his absence is such a big issue for Reet since women have always waited for their sailor husbands back home from the sea. Mart, their family friend, is in love with Reet and cannot stand to see her suffer.
