When I find myself living far from home for the first time in my life, some questions about self emerge. How does one’s immediate environment shape them and how must one change in a new environment? I ponder these philosophical questions through a series of tangentially related chapters which explore the themes of meaning creation (art and religion) as well as the very nature of language and communication.
