November – Video Diary (2020)

After experiencing the first symptoms of depression the filmmaker decides to use the camera as a mirror, in this way he can observe himself from the outside. The sorrow and numbness is strong and in order to help himself to get through, decides also to invite friends and colleagues at home. Feeling closeness would help him to experience less the solitude.
Loneliness is an uninvited and silent guest. It creeps into the room unseen and visits the author which now feels again distant and lost. Loneliness is an inner ruminating monologue that repeats over and over in the author's mind, there’s no break. The feeling of experiencing a petrified body and an impossibility of reacting to the situation is strong.
Through this video-diary the filmmaker question himself about his identity and through that he brings us in his inner world.
