Summertime (2022)

Karit, Doris, Joonas and Fred are graduating from high school and making their first steps towards independent life. There are so many opportunities and sometimes making choices can be difficult. The situation in the world is setting various challenges. There are many ongoing conflicts and the Covid situation is only magnifying them. But even in this situation one should stay young and enjoy being alive.
This is a film about opportunities and choices, about fears and loneliness, about freedom and love. This is a story of one generation; a film about growing up. The film is a sequel to a documentary "The Time Is Now" made 12 years ago, when we watched Karit, Doris, Fred and Joonas during their first year in school.
