In September 1967, writer Enn Nõu and Jaak Kiviloog are visiting their homeland Estonia for the first time after the events of war of 1944. They take a passenger ferry from Sweden to Finland and then to Tallinn.
The fim has recorded the Old Town of Tallinn, historical spots and sights of cultural history, places related to personal memories. On their way back to Sweden they stop in Helsinki.
