In September 1967, writer Enn Nõu with Jaak Kiviloog visit their homeland for the first time after the military events of 1944. They begin their trip by ferry from Sweden through Finland and finally reach Tallinn. They record the old town of Tallinn, historical sights and places connected to personal memories. On their way back to Sweden they make a stop in Helsinki. The film also shows Elo Tuglas, Eva Lille, Peeter Ulas, Juhan Kahk and Uno Laht.
