Sünopsis

Lesson of the expatriate Estonian pupils in Canada, singing class. Film's director Arved Viirlaid with his wife explains the reasons of making the film. Chronicle frames: Tallinn before World War I, Nicholas II of Russia, battle scenes from World War I. Revolution of 1917 in St. Petersburg, Kerenski, Lenin, manifesto of declaration of the Republic of Estonia; German forces in 1918, the Red Army, Danish volunteers in the Estonian War of Independence, armoured trains and armoured vehicles; the original document of the Treaty of Tartu. Chronicle scenes about the restructuring of the Republic of Estonia after the War of Independence:
