The Fisher Girl (1984)

Operetta "The Fisher Girl" performed by the actors of Estonian National Theatre in Canada. Most probably Estonian National Theatre celebrated its 40th anniversary with restaging the original production. The film begins with the credits of the authors of the theatrical production: music by Priit Ardna, libretto by Irma Truupõld, stage director Lydia Vohu-Viksten; music director Roman Toi, assistant director Erika Veskimets-Solom, set design by Arthur Mihkelsoo, choreography by Kai Käärid, répétiteur Liina Teose, costumes by Endla Komi, light design by Tiina Söödor, head of production Eda Loo. The story of Priit Ardna's operetta "The Fisher Girl" takes place in two different environments -

- saarel kalurite juures ja pealinnas Õhtulehe närvilises ja intriige loovas keskkonnas, mis kulmineerub pressiballiga. Lavastuse proloog, I vaatus: "Õhtulehe toimetuses", II vaatus: "Õhtulehe ballil" ja III vaatus: "Tiiu ja Jüri pulmad Saaremaal". Järgneb osatäitjate tervitamine, lillede kinkimine ja õnnitlejad laval.
