Sünopsis

John Baltsar has filmed his family and acquaintances, events in his home town and outside the town. The film starts with the views of garden that is full of blossoms of lush marigolds and zinnias and where ceramic rabbits and a frog add excitement. There are family friends, a little girl playing with a dog in the garden, riding her doll pram and watering flowers. Missis Baltsar in her home garden with the cat. The national flag with 48 stars is waving. Views of the national monument for forefathers in Massachusetts, the Sagamore Bridge. The foot guard inspection of the Covernor of Connecticut state near the building of parliament in Hartford on September 20th, 1940. This is followed by black-and-white frames of the parade where the historical episodes are performed to the public. In front of the USA pavillion of the New York World's Fair there is a parade by naval forces in October 1940. Soldiers are performing the trick drill, accompanied by the orchestra, in front of a big audience. A fragment from a holiday trip to Florida in 1939. Views of the war veterans' memorial tower atop Mount Greylock in Massachusetts. From the observation tower the town of Adams can be viewed, located between the mountains. The film ends with the military parade where various regiments are participating.
