75 years have passed since the beginning of Estonian scouting when the first unit was organized in Pärnu in 1912. The anniversary is celebrated with the great gathering in Estonian House Toronto on May 24, 1987. Scouts master Heino Jõe holds the first speech at the festive gathering. He talks about the following subjects: establishment of Estonian scouting and the founder Anton Õunapuu; Scouts Battalion and its founder Henry Reissar; Young Eagles Organization; late 1920s, the blooming era of Estonian scouting and its end due to Soviet occupation.
