11th Estonian Days in Melbourne, December 1981 (1981)

Celebration of 11th Estonian Days in Melbourne at the end of 1981 begins with the procession on city streets. A big blue-black-white flag is carried in front of the procession, followed by the national flag of Australia and the flags of societies and associations. The opening of the celebration takes place in Estonian House, Melbourne. Flag-bearers of various unions are called to the stage. Artistic performances. The national anthem of Estonia is being sung. A male quartet is performing, including folk songs. Among other performers there is a duo accompanied by a guitarist; a mixed quartet; a flutist; a violinist; an excellent accordionist etc. Children and folk dancers are also performing at the concert. Choir performances - a joined choir sings several well-known choral pieces.
