Baltic Evening 3/8 (1991)

In September 1991 Baltic Federation in Canada held a festive dinner in Westin Harbor Castle Hotel in Toronto in order to celebrate the restoration of independence of the Baltic states. More than 800 participants were present, including Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians, members of Canadian government and parliament, city advisers of Toronto. Dinner guests are talking to each other and look happy. Bob Rae, head of Ontario province, is also in the crowd. Michael Wilson, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Foreign Trade and Ilmar Heinsoo, the honorary consul general of the Republic of Estonia, are talking in the dinner table. The film depicts an elevated and cheerful atmosphere.
