Sünopsis

Trivimi Velliste was invited to Canada by the Estonian Heritage Protection Society's Friends in the autumn of 1988. He introduces the programme of the heritage protection week held in Tallinn, October 1988; as well as the plans for the spring and summer of 1989. Velliste talks about the archaeological digging by the enterprise AGU; management of AGU; newspaper publishing; restricted working conditions; plans about moving to the new office space in Pikk Street 46; construction plans to the plot in Roosikrantsi Street 17; ideas about building a recreational centre in Soucanton Summer Manor in Rocca al Mare. He also talks about the archaeological diggings of Tartu St John's Church and the poor condition of the churches in West Estonia and Estonian islands; also explains the idea to create the summerschool of Estonian Heritage Protection Society, talks about collecting memories and analyses the disappearance of fear when sharing memories.
