Sünopsis

Choirs and folk dance groups are performing at the song celebration of expatriate Estonians held in Scandinavium sports hall in Gothenburg on May 21, 1977. The song celebration procession arrives at Scandinavium hall, the audience is respectfully standing. Next to the collectives of expatriate Estonians in Sweden also guests choirs perform: Swedish mixed choir "Lodola" from Gothenburg; mixed choir "Leelo" from Düsseldorf; Finnish National Choir (Kansalliskuoro); choirmaster Toivo Korhonen. Performance by mixed choirs. The opening speech is held by the chief manager of song celebration Andres Merelaid. Archbishop Konrad Veem is speaking. Concert, mixed choirs performing, women's and children's choirs. Conductors Toomas Tuulse, Rein Tubin, Harri Kiisk, B. Hellström and others. The emblem of song celebration on the wall together with the national flags of Estonia and Sweden. Acts by folk dance groups follow. Women's choir singing. Gothenburg Estonian Male Choir conducted by Eero Tarjus and Harri Kiisk. At the end of the concert the conductors and song celebration organizers receive greetings and compliments. Views of the lilac bushes in blooms and the Estonian national flag waving high on the top of the flagpole.
