Sünopsis

Views taken outside of the school. Schoolchildren wear festive outfits for filming, lots of girls wear national costumes. The first grade - making Estonian flag in class, teacher Miss Paulus. The second grade - math class, weight and capacity, teacher Leini Mälk. The third grade - natural history class, rodents, teacher Marie Susi. Fourth grade - geography class, Estonian towns. The fifth grade - drawing class, perspective, teacher Udo Juuno. The schoolkids go to the canteen for lunch. They say grace before their meal. The kids are eating, the head of the school Eduard Karma eating at a separate table where the kids go and thank for their food. Long break outdoors near Mälaren Lake. Boys' physical education class outdoors, ballgames, teacher Olev Olesk. Girls' physical education class in the gym - exercises, jump ropes, jumps, ladders, beam. The fourth grade - girls' handicraft class; sewing manually and with sewing machines, ironing, demonstrating the completed clothing. Boys' handicraft class, woodwork - sanding, planing, sawing, drilling, turning, teacher Udo Juuno.
