The Estonian Gymnasium in Lapland (1950)

An electric train arrives at Björkliden station, schoolkids and teachers leave the station. Views of nature, Silverfallet waterfall etc. The schoolkids get the hiking patches and study the map. After giving first aid all of them take the train that will cross the border of Sweden and Norway. In Norwegian harbour town Narvik the schoolkids take the boat trip and continue the train ride, they eat in the dining car. Skis are taken out from the baggage car in Åre, Sweden. After waxing the skis and fastening the ski crampons schoolkids go to skiing. The film finishes with the views of Storlien railway station, nature, frozen Brudslöjan waterfall and Åre mountain railway.
