Sünopsis

Tallinn after bombing in March 1944. Filmed in April and May 1944. Destroyed buildings: Toompea filmed from Toompuiestee; Towers' Square; city centre (filmed from the firehouse tower on Gonsiori Street); corner of Müürivahe and Harju Street; Harju Street; Väike-Karja and Rüüti Streets; St. Michael's Church; Niguliste Church; Estonia Avenue; Suur-Karja Street; Tartu Road; areas around Gonsiori Street (also known as "Kompasna"); beginning of Tartu Road; streets around Sadama district.
Excavator is collecting debris on Harju Street. Two vehicles for driving practice, the cars run on wood gas. A little girl among the ruins. A man with a bucket collecting debris. Pärnu Road, Tõnismägi, Süda Street, Kassisaba and Kelmiküla districts, Virmalise, Vaestepatuste and Luise streets, the building of the state printing house, building of the Estonian National Opera Theatre, Hotel Bristol etc.
