Sünopsis

The first Estonian general song celebration in Stockholm on June 27, 1948. Introduction of the song festival programme. Swedish flags are waving, views of Stockholm. Women and girls wearing Estonian national costumes. Participants of the song celebration procession are gathering in Kungsträdgården, the procession moves along the city streets. Arrival at the venue of the song celebration - Solliden song festival grounds in Skansen. Manivald Loite, representative of Estonians in England and Jaan Kitzberg, chairman of the Estonian Committe in Lübeck, are talking. Bishop Johan Kõpp and Metropolitan Aleksander lead the church service.
Speeches are held by Heinrich Laretei, chairman of the committe of the song celebration and professor Birger Nerman, chairman of the Baltic Committee in Sweden.
