Sünopsis

The amateur film shows chronicle materials recorded in 1939: including moments from the Berkshire Music Festival, Benson's private zoo, amusement park in New Hampshire and flower show in Vermont. The film starts with Ludvig Juht, a contrabassist of Estonian origin who has found recognition in USA. The festival audiencel arrives at Tanglewood music centre that is the venue where Boston symphony orchestra performs in summer. People are walking in front of the Tanglewood concert house and having drinks during the intermission. Views about a big parking lot. Animals are amusing the audience in Benson animal park. Ponies attached in front of the carriage are playing tricks. A small bear cub is asking for candies from the animal caretaker. Donkeys and goats are pulling carts at the children's carousel. Monkeys are flying by plane and elephants are giving amusement ride to children. Visitors who spend their time in the open-air cafe are filmed during Vermont flower show where young girls dressed in white dresses remind of fairies.
