Cabaret (2012)

For already the 23th time in a row, the eleventh graders of Saaremaa Grammar School stage a big cabaret performance right before the Christmas that will also be later performed outside the school. Passionate documentary about the everyday life of Saaremaa Grammar School during the times of preparations for the Cabaret in 2011. The 23-year-old tradition. Life on the stage and offstage. Sweat, tears, blood. Falling in love and breakups. Indignation and victories. All this has to stay in a rehearsal room since the performance must be perfect. Every day, the Cabaret is performed by new eleventh graders, expressing the joy of making amateur performance art.
