Portrait documentary records the creative journey of the artists' couple Signe (1918-2006) and Arseni (1919-2009) as well as views their role as intellectuals and art teachers. The film also studies the selectiveness and objectivity of artist memory, changes related to one's era in artist's work, and the human story of two artists. Contemporaries of the two artists recall Signe and Arseni as an inseparable couple taking part in art events and great exhibiton openings.
