The Border of Human (2005)

There is one point where the borders of the Republic of Estonia, Republic of Latvia and Russian Federation meet. This is where the filmmakers start their journey. The residents of the villages by the state border get along well, on both sides of the border people have only kind words for their neighbours. Estonians, Latvians, Russians talk about their lives: Estonians living in Estonia, those living in Latvia, those living in the intersection of the state borders, Russians who can speak both Latvian and Estonian, residents of Mehka area, Estonians living in Korneti village in Latvia and Estonians living in Koiva. Lots of languages and lots of people. The material filmed for TV series "On the border" (consisting of five episodes) was also used for the documentary.
