According to critics, graphic artist Herald Eelma belongs to the generation of artists who has significantly influenced the development of contemporary graphic art in Estonia. The filmmakers have recorded the artist during three months – Herald Eelma in his working environment; sketching and drawing. The artist takes part in woodcut competition, for which he creates wood engravings "The series of Vargamäe".
