Enn Johannes

Estonian metal artist Enn Johannes (b. 1936) designs and creates medals for the laureates of Kristjan Raud Art Prize and Konrad Mägi Award. The artist and art teacher in his best creative form is forced to give up his apartment in Tallinn and job at the Estonian Academy of Arts; he currently lives in a desert village on the island of Hiiumaa where the only residents are a few elderly people. The annual commemorative medals for state awards of culture and sports come from the same small village of Hiiumaa island where Enn Johannes leads his freelancer life together ...
