Sünopsis

The travels of the Stockholm Estonian Male Choir in homeland and abroad in 1967-1970. The choir leaves the town by bus, riding to a smaller town. Traffic on the streets and roads is still left-hand. Swedish and Estonian flags waving in front of the building. Harry Kiisk conducting a mixed choir. Getting back to the city in late night. A summer outing of the male choir on a ship. The port and the city are left behind, the ship goes by small cliffy islands, swans on waves. Singing outside a summer cottage, conducted by Lembit Leetma. The weather is warm, people are sunbathing and barbecueing. Men are in an elevated mood, singing. Festiva gathering where choir members are with their spouses. Speech, choosing food from buffet, sitting behind the table, singing. Concert trip to Denmark in 1968. Views of Copenhagen. Festive event, Estonian national flag is carried to the great hall, speeches, a femal pianist performing. The event ends with a festive dinner in the great hall, a violinist's performance. A new trip by bus. Roads in winter. Women's choir singing, a string duet performing. Choir members with their spouses going on an outing by boat. Again the summer cottages in an island, people are sunbathing and relaxing. Celebration of Lembit Leetma's birthday in March 1970. The conductor is being congratulated and receives presents at a crowded gathering. Mr Leetma's speech. Funeral service of the choir member, the coffin is carried out of the building.
