Film chronicle about the pre-war life in Harford. The first episode depicts a parade in central town where servicemen from different military units and cavalrymen on horses participate. Some columns are wearing historical uniforms. Military units of New Haven, Southington and Bridgeport as well as Scottish and Italian units are marching, accompanied by the brass orchestra. A longer episode about the parade of Shiners' clubs follows. Security staff guarding the procession, cameraman with the film camera moves along on a platform with the columns. The colourful outfits of Shriners add spice to the parade together with the drummers, brass orchestras and bikers. The final episodes depict Mrs Baltsar with her guests in her home garden. Views of the blossoming trees and bushes and of their house.
