Celebration of Estonian 74th Independence Day in Toronto (1) (1992)

Estonian national flag is being hoisted in honour of the 74th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia in front of Toronto Town Hall. People are singing the national anthem. Laas Leivat, the head of Estonian Central Council in Canada, and August Nõmmik, representative of Estonian Students' Society, hold their speeches. Nõmmik recollects his memories about the hiding of the Estonian national flag in Vaimastvere. City adviser of Toronto city government William Boytchuk holds his greeting speech.
