Home or Away (2011)

A young girl is confused about her future. School practically behind her, she finds it hard to confront the beginning of her working life in Estonia. She is not attracted by the situation in her home country: high percentage of people her age are unemployed (39%) and it is a difficult time to apply for a job. In order to continue her studies in MA degree, she would need financial support from her family. This is not a solution for her! She has always wanted to go to Australia because to her it sounds like a perfect place to work and travel, but is it really? Three persons of her age have already faced the same dilemma and came to their decision – to go. One of them is living in Australia, one is about to go there and one has already returned home. They share their thoughts about what it is that makes Australia a great place to be and if there is something to come back home for. In addition to the main characters, we also hear the opinions of their family members and friends.
What is the girl going to decide? Will she stay or will she go?
