A stroll through Kadri Mälk´s world of jewellery. Mälk began her studies at the Tartu Art School in 1977 and graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts in 1986, studying under professor Leili Kuldkepp. Mälk has been assigned to the Estonian Academy of Arts since 1989 and has been a professor of the jewellery department at the academy since 1996. She has held both solo and group exhibitions throughout the world. Her work has been displayed in various museums and exhibitions.

Filmmaker Rein Raamat has followed the artist working in her studio in Paris and sharing her thoughts. Commentaries by Harri Liivrand, Vladimir-Georg Karassev-Orgusaar and French art historian Emmanuelle Corcellet-Prévost. The film also serves as a farewell to Marie Männik who passed away in 2003.

Portrait documentary by Rein Raamat introduces the creative world of artist Jaan Elken, one of the most interesting lyrical abstractionist painter in Estonia, through his artist's confessions and the analysis of an art historian.

The main subject in Jaan Elken's (b. 1954, painter and professor of the painting department at the University of Tartu) work is modern urban environment; hyperrealistic motifs have been powerfully replaced by expressive abstract painting style. Elken's work belongs to several art collections as well as museum collections both in Estonia and abroad; it has been awarded with several prizes. His artwork is introduced through exhibitions held in 1997-1999, with the comments by art historian Harry Liivrand.

Enn Põldroos has been called the painter of men and human relationships. The artist himself has admitted that painting portraits has always been his secret love. At his exhibition "31 gentlemen" (1998) the artist presented portraits he had painted in 1958-1997. The portraits are commented by the artist, art historians and several people who were portrayed.
