Portrait documentary about volleyball coach Ivan Dratshov who can be undoubtedly called the Father of Estonian volleyball.

Russian soldier Ivan Dratshov came to Estonia on a military ship during the World War Two and stayed to live here. He turned out to be a important person in the development of Estonian sports. Dratshov founded Estonian school of volleyball and led the male volleball team to the victory - they became the champions of the Soviet Union in 1968. The documentary shows archival materials about the history of Estonian male and female volleyball sports. Former players share their memories about Ivan Dratshov (1921-1989), his life's work and complicated destiny.

The campsite of expatriate Estonians of Gothenburg in Koitjärve has been a place for social events and scouting camps for more than twenty years.

Expatriate Estonians in Gothenburg celebrate the 20th anniversary since the camp site in Koitjärve was established. People arriving at Koitjärve. General camp of expatriate Estonian girl and boy scouts "Põhjala" takes place in Koitjärve and Havilahe by the Lake Lygnern, Sweden on July 18-27, 1964.

"Põhjala" camp is divided into two: the girl scouts in Havilahe and boy scouts in Koitjärve. Both camps function independently yet the scouts gather for joint line-ups, celebrations and nights with campfire. There are guest scouts from seven countries. Arlanda Airport, Stockholm. Receiving guests, bus ride. Guests arriving by car. Every scout division from different country wears their own uniform. Groups from USA, Norway and Sweden are marching to the flag square. Estonian Film Database (EFDB)

The database is maintained by NGO Estonian Film Database. It was opened on 12.12.2012 and is meant for providing information about the whole Estonian film heritage from 1912. We plan fully complete it by 2025 but already now full and partial entries for about 20 000 films, 27 000 filmmakers, and more than 200 production companies could be retrieved in Estonian and partly in English. Translation of film descriptions and keywords into English is ongoing but due to the scarcity of resources quite a slow process. Read more detailed overview.
