After a tumultuous period for the two, Kusti shows the capability of affection as we realize the significance of their presence in each other lives.

Sherlock and I’ features teenagers Miina and a young man she has nicknamed ‘Sherlock’, and their (in)ability to take first steps out of childhood and into physical romance, with the backdrop of getting teased and trying to spread one’s wings in a strict household.

Miina, after getting rejected by her crush, decides to ask ‘Sherlock‘ to take part in an academic makeout session, in order to get out of her ‘loser’ status in school. Things don’t go her way, as Sherlock, before seemingly cocky and cool, can’t handle the intimacy of physical romance just yet and leaves as things start to heat up. At the sweet closing of the film, Miina finds the care and comfort she was looking for from boys by reminding herself of her loving relationship with her mother.

In these nightmarish confrontations, dramatics, mysticism as well as twisted comedy can be found. The second short film is "Early Spring". This is not a cool youth movie about frolicking teenagers.
