Inside the Tribal Experience is an immersive online experience that explores the Estonian tradition of singing- and Song Celebrations through the voices and ideas of Estonians. The online experience combines together documentary videos, interviews, photos, user generated content, soundscapes and interactive data on an HTML5 site.

Inside the Tribal Experience project gives an opportunity to explore the true nature of Estonians as a tribe and the singing tradition that they carry. The project will give the user an opportunity to dig deeper and learn about the sacred rituals and traditions of the Estonian tribe while being entertained and educated at the same time. The innovative author's film by Mark Soosaar with excellent camerawork combines documentary and fiction, telling the dramatic story during the Revolution of 1905 about the tragic destiny of Bernhard Laipmann, a reforming farmer who teaches people the ideas of enlightenment.

The Christmas of 1905 in Vigala is not the peaceful holiday. The manor house has been pillaged during the peasant's revolt; the air is full of smoke of fire and there is the premonition of inevitable punishment. Estonian Film Database (EFDB)

The database is maintained by NGO Estonian Film Database. It was opened on 12.12.2012 and is meant for providing information about the whole Estonian film heritage from 1912. We plan fully complete it by 2025 but already now full and partial entries for about 20 000 films, 27 000 filmmakers, and more than 200 production companies could be retrieved in Estonian and partly in English. Translation of film descriptions and keywords into English is ongoing but due to the scarcity of resources quite a slow process. Read more detailed overview.
