Russian children study Estonian language with the Total Immersion Method in a Tallinn school in 2001-2012.

In 2001, the first language class using the Total Immersion Method started in Tallinn Läänemere Grammar School where Russian children were specialised in Estonian language. The documentary series "Total Immersion Method users" was filmed in the spring of 2003 that introduced the life of those graduating from the third grade. In 2007 the filmmakers returned to the students. The documentary "Two springs of the Total Immersion Method" was born. Nele and Anneli are inseparable friends. One of them is a bit radical punk-girl, another above the average looking heart-breaker. Their different social backgrounds don’t interfere with their relationship. These girls feel the forming stratification and upheavals of Estonia’s changing society. They are smart, but they do not obey the rules. They are energetic, open-minded and eager to express their thoughts loudly. They take life at its fullest, living for the present day, not for one to come. The film follows their last spring in high school together combining girls’ intimate and immediate video journal with precise, stylistically professional camerawork.
