Documentary about the contribution of the Estonian pilots in the Red Army in establishing and developing a Soviet aerodrome in 1920s-1930s. After the Great Patriotic War, the deputy of the head of Russian air fleet was Estonian August Kork and quite a lot of Estonian men were serving in the air force of the Red Army: Lavrenti Martinson, Georg Linno, brothers Jaan and Jakob Nusberg and many others.
