FIlmmaker Andres Sööt, whose family was also among those breaking apart because of the deportation in 1941, dedicates the film to all those sent to Siberia. This is a timeless responsibility - not to forget.

Events of the past tend to fade away; however, the June deportation of 1941 has remained to the memory of Estonian people forever as one of the cruellest crimes by Soviet authorities. At the night of June 14, 1941, more than ten thousand people were deported to Siberia, most of them being women and children. The film introduces those who stayed alive in SIberia and finally returned back home. Director Andres Sööt whose family also collapsed due to the June deportation dedicates his film to all those sent to Siberia. This is an everlasting responsibility - not to forget.
