Members of the art group ANK'64 talk about their thoughts with the backdrop of the retrospective exhibition "ANK'64. Half a Century in Art" that was held in Tallinn Art Hall in 2013.

ANK'64 was an Estonian artists' group that was in action in 1964-1969 and included the following young artists all studying in the former Estonian State Art Institute (now Estonian Academy of Arts): Malle Leis, Jüri Arrak, Kristiina Kaasik, Tiiu Pallo-Vaik, Enno Ootsing, Marju Mutsu, Vello Tamm, Tõnis Laanemaa and Aili Vint. The mental leader of the group was Tõnis Vint. Isiklik ja intiimne lugu Jeruusalemmas asuvast Õlimäe kloostrist ja erakordse elusaatusega eestlannast, nunn ema Ksenijast. Heilika Pikkov’s feature length creative documentary „Flowers from the Mount of Olives“ was shot within two years at The Mount of Olives Convent of the Ascension of Our Lord in Jerusalem.

Right alongside Jerusalem, in a Russian Orthodox Convent in Mount of Olives, lives the 82 year-old Estonian nun Mother Ksenya. Although inside the convent’s cement walls the clock is never set and life still follows the Julius calendar, the 20 years that Mother Ksenya has spent there have passed by in a flash. In the hierarchy of the nunnery she has now achieved the second-to-last level. She is heading towards complete silence, the Great Schema. But before that she has been given permission to tell the story of her life for the very last time.

Russian children study Estonian language with the Total Immersion Method in a Tallinn school in 2001-2012.

In 2001, the first language class using the Total Immersion Method started in Tallinn Läänemere Grammar School where Russian children were specialised in Estonian language. The documentary series "Total Immersion Method users" was filmed in the spring of 2003 that introduced the life of those graduating from the third grade. In 2007 the filmmakers returned to the students. The documentary "Two springs of the Total Immersion Method" was born.
