By 1981, the Laboratory and Clinic of Scientific Research of Metalosteosynthesis has been named after its founder A. Seppo. Head of the clinic Uku Truupõld, and head of the patent department Ljudmilla Gans continue the work of Dr Seppo.

Contemplative documentary directed by Rein Maran about the relationship between man and nature.

The filmmaker has recorded special episodes about Estonian nature and people for whom nature is important, whether they be officials or amateurs – among others hunting biologist Harri Põldsam, students from the nature club at Tartu State University and Estonian Agricultural Academy (tutored by Jaan Eilart) and doctor of infectious diseases Mart Martson who has discovered his interest towards bird watching and research besides his daily professional work. All these conversations are surrounded by rare views from the world of nature: grouses' mating dance, a litter of helpless wolf cubs, Alpine butterwort, the blunt-flowered rush, Saaremaa yellow rattle etc.

Estonian Film Database (EFDB)

The database is maintained by NGO Estonian Film Database. It was opened on 12.12.2012 and is meant for providing information about the whole Estonian film heritage from 1912. We plan fully complete it by 2025 but already now full and partial entries for about 20 000 films, 27 000 filmmakers, and more than 200 production companies could be retrieved in Estonian and partly in English. Translation of film descriptions and keywords into English is ongoing but due to the scarcity of resources quite a slow process. Read more detailed overview.
