The film depicts a demonstration by Macedonian community in Queens Park, Toronto, in order to recognize the state's independence.

The film depicts street views in front of the Hotel Filmores, the demonstration, flaring Macedonian flags; folk music is playing and the crowd is dancing. The interviews held with Macedonians are about the nationality and the history of Macedonia, also about the yearning for peaceful independence for the country that is also supported in Canada. Also the representatives of other countries of former Yugoslavian Federation participating in the demonstration express their support. The crowd applauds the speeches. There is also an Estonian poster among the other ones supporting Macedonian independence.

The interviewer wonders why the conflict has increased, whether Estonian people are afraid of the situation and how Estonia will defend itself. Arjakas responds even three times to the question how Canada could help the Baltic states. After the interview the reporter and Küllo Arjakas talk about visiting Russia. Representative of Latvian press room faxes a special announcement to newspapers from Latvian National Federation in Canada.

Estonian Film Database (EFDB)

The database is maintained by NGO Estonian Film Database. It was opened on 12.12.2012 and is meant for providing information about the whole Estonian film heritage from 1912. We plan fully complete it by 2025 but already now full and partial entries for about 20 000 films, 27 000 filmmakers, and more than 200 production companies could be retrieved in Estonian and partly in English. Translation of film descriptions and keywords into English is ongoing but due to the scarcity of resources quite a slow process. Read more detailed overview.
