    Director Renato Borrayo Serrano was born in Guatemala in 1992. He graduated from documentary directing at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK). Directed several films that were shown at many international film festivals. His latest film “Film for Carlos” received Honorary Jury mention at DokLeipzig 2017 and the price for Best Short Film at Docudays UA 2018.

    Gustaf Boman Bränngård

    Screenwriter/director Gustaf Boman Bränngård was born and raised in Stockholm. He now lives and works in Tallinn, Estonia. He has studied creative writing at Södertörn College, film production at Trollhättan College and film theory at Stockholm Univeristy. Gustaf wrote the screenplay for the short film Girl (Plattform produktion, 2011) by Fijona Jonuzi and Stormaktstiden (Kågerman, 2014) by Pella Kågerman. Both which where in competition for Startsladden at GIFF (Gothenberg film festival) and has been shown on SVT (Swedish Public Broadcast). Girl was also screened at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012. In Tallinn, he has written the script for the short film Borders (Birds of Paradise, 2015) directed by Mikk Mägi.

    Patrick Bresnan

    Patrick Bresnan is a visual artist and filmmaker. He received his formal education working for notable Mission School artists Clare Rojas and Barry McGee (TWIST). He co-directed THE SEND-OFF which premiered at Sundance '16 and received awards at SXSW, SFIFF and AFI FEST.  He directed THE RABBIT HUNT which premiered in the US at Sundance '17 and in Europe at the Berlinale. The film has won 20 awards including the Cinema Eye Honor. He co-directed and shot SKIP DAY which won the grand jury prize at The Directors Fortnight at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. He was a cinematographer of BOY STATE which won the grand jury prize at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Patrick holds a master’s degree in Sustainability from the University of Texas School of Architecture.

    Alexey Chupov was born on May 29, 1973 in Moscow. He was graduated from the Moscow State University, studied Movie History at Wake Forest University in U.S. Started out as a TV journalist. Together with his wife Natasha Merkulova he wrote the screenplay and directed the film INTIMATE PARTS – a critically acclaimed debut of 2013.
