Biographical documentary about Kristjan Palusalu (Trossmann, 1908-1987), Estonian national hero and legend of Estonian sports history. The documentary tells the story of a boy coming from a rural area in Estonia who becomes the best wrestler in Europe and wins two olympic gold medals in Berlin Olympic Games in 1936. Recollections by Palusalu's relatives, friends and colleagues; archival materials; radio reportages and staged episodes recreate the story of Palusalu's life and profession.
