Odd characters and strange atmosphere create dark background to events that take place in a remote medical institution where Helen travels to identify her unexpectedly passed away mother. Helen has not seen her mother for the last twenty years. In an appalling environment, the young woman discovers her own brother among Dr. Schulze's patients. Helen vaguely remembers the existence of her brother through disturbing childhood dreams. The fear from the past as well as ignorance make Helen an easy pray for the chief doctor who will practise strange treatment methods on the young woman. Helen has to make a choice ...
