Children and adults in the city have become apathetic because of their dull routines and grey everyday life. They have lost their traditions and forgetten the land of fairy-tales. They are not aware that a little dwarf is moving around in their midst at Christmas time. The dwarf tries to make children happy with his presents, but continually finds himself in humorously tragic situations.
