Polar Rhythms (2005)

Title in Estonian: Polaarrütmid

Documentary Duration 26:44

Documentary about salsa dancers and their love towards the hot dance in a cold climate. A unique species lives in harsh climatic conditions - winter storms on the coast of the Baltic Sea. Salsaria estonica won't fly to a wam country in winter - instead, the species derives energy from hot rhythms and fast-paced dancing during the cold and dark winter. However, there is a problem in the otherwise idyllic Estonian salsa landscape – there are not enough men for dance partners. The solution arrives from an unexpected direction.
