Collective farms all over the Estonian SSR have more than two hundred modern farms for dairy cattle since the decisions by the Communist Party and the government that cattle breeding should be transferred to industrial bases. These dairy farms house more than half of Estonian dairy cattle. Concentrating and specializing of beef cattle have made it possible to frequently lower the labour expenses and that is reflected by the dynamics of average milk production during one human hour. The documentary gives an overview about the technology and achievements of industrial milk production.
