The Visitor (2008)

Original title: Muukalainen

A boy lives with his mother in a lonely farmhouse amidst the woods. Now and then he goes to see his father who is in prison and the two of them share a common secret. Their life will change the day when a stranger arrives at their house, carrying a letter from the boy's father and being wounded by a bullet. Through the eyes of the silent boy we see the way life changes, the way spring becomes winter and the way hope develops to betrayal.
